The Barnesville Police Department is seeking a calm, dependable, and service-oriented Police Dispatcher to join our team. In this vital role, you’ll be the first point of contact for emergency and non-emergency calls, ensuring timely, accurate communication between the public and our officers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls
- Dispatch police units and relay critical information
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Support officers and the community with professionalism and clarity
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency
- Prior dispatch experience a plus (not required)
