Barnesville Independence Day Celebration Games
Join the Fun at the Barnesville Independence Day Celebration Games! As part of the Barnesville Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks and our community’s celebration of America’s 250th Birthday, everyone is invited to participate in an afternoon of classic family-friendly games at Barnesville Memorial Park on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
Games will begin at 2:30 PM in the grassy area between the basketball courts and the ball fields.
Games Include:
- Corn Hole
- Sack Races
- Tug of War
- Egg & Spoon Races
- Water Balloon Toss
Participants of all ages are encouraged to join in the fun! The winner of each game will receive a FREE Dairy Queen cone coupon.
The games are just one part of a full day of activities at Barnesville Memorial Park, including:
- Free Swim: Noon–6:00 PM
- Food Vendors throughout the day
- Live Music: Beginning at 3:00 PM
- Fireworks at Dusk
