Barnesville Fireworks
Due to the forecast of inclement weather for the originally scheduled July 5th celebration, the Barnesville Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks is now being held on Saturday, July 11, 2026. While the date has changed, the excitement has only grown! We invite residents and visitors to join us at Barnesville Memorial Park as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with a full day of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, delicious food, community fun, and a spectacular fireworks display to conclude the evening.
The celebration begins with FREE swimming at the Barnesville Memorial Park Pool from Noon to 6:00 PM, offering the perfect way to cool off on a summer afternoon.
Baseball fans can enjoy the 8U Pinto Baseball Tournament, taking place throughout the day on the park ballfields. Stop by to cheer on our young athletes while enjoying your favorite items from the Barnesville Park concession stand.
Participate in our Old-Fashioned Family Games, beginning with Corn Hole at 2:30 PM in the grassy area between the basketball courts and the baseball fields. Additional games include sack races, tug of war, egg and spoon races, and a water balloon toss. Winners of each event will receive a FREE Dairy Queen cone coupon.
Visitors can enjoy delicious food throughout the day from several local vendors, including Cowgirl Country Fixins, DiRusso’s Food Trailer, Shamrock Tropical Snow, Refugee Church (FREE popcorn), and the Barnesville Park Concession Stand.
