Village Administrator (Full-Time):
The Village of Barnesville, Ohio, is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Village Administrator. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary based on experience and credentials. Seasonal Positions including Lifeguard, Concession Workers, and General Laborers for Mowing:
The Village of Barnesville is accepting applications for seasonal positions for the Park and Cemetery Departments. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. These positions include general laborers for mowing of cemeteries and all village properties as well as lifeguards and concession workers for the park. Applications may be obtained at the Barnesville Water Department Office, 126 East Church Street, Barnesville. The Village of Barnesville is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug free work place.
School Resource Officer (Part-Time):
The Village of Barnesville Police Department is accepting applications for the position of School Resource Officer (SRO). This is a part-time police officer position and will begin next school year. Part-time SROs work within the Barnesville School system during the school year. Starting pay for part-time police officers is currently $18/hr. As an SRO, you will be expected to work with school staff as well as with students to promote a safe and positive school environment for the community. The Village of Barnesville Police Department has an exceptional relationship with Barnesville Schools, and we look forward to your help working with some of the most important and precious parts of our community, our schools and our young people. SROs must have a current OPOTA certificate and meet other criteria required for the position.
