Barnesville Ordinance Chapter 1371 requires that the owners and each adult occupant of all houses, apartments or other residences located within the Village of Barnesville shall post the street number of said house, apartment or other residence at some conspicuous place on the building or grounds. Said number shall be of sufficient size so as to be visible from the street. Anyone failing to comply may be fined a sum not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00). Each day of noncompliance may be considered a separate offense. Making sure your house numbers can be seen helps first responders find your location easier.
