Notice: Fire Hydrant Flushing

The Barnesville Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants beginning today Monday, July 10, 2023 and will continue daily until completed. Residents may experience loss of pressure and discolored water and should inspect the water prior to washing clothing as staining may result. The Barnesville Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may create.

NOTICE: Today’s Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks have been canceled due to inclement weather and rescheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026 at dusk at Barnesville Memorial Park. New information for the new event date will be made available once plans are finalized.
